Question 1

What is your minimum order volume?

Accepted Answer

For most grain and legume lines we trade from one 30-tonne load upward, and we are happy to discuss smaller volumes for a first order or a trial consignment. Tree crops are usually traded in larger parcels. Tell us the specification and the delivery window and we will tell you plainly whether we can cover it.

Question 2

Can you supply against a forward contract?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and it is the arrangement we prefer. A forward agreement across a season lets us commit buying volume to our farmer network before the crop is planted, which is better for the farmer and considerably more reliable for the buyer. Terms, specification and delivery schedule are agreed in writing before either side commits.

Question 3

How do you assure quality?

Accepted Answer

Every lot is metered for moisture at intake, cleaned of foreign matter and broken grain, graded against a written per-commodity specification, and tagged to its source before it enters store. Moisture is checked again before dispatch. Groundnut is aflatoxin-screened at intake as standard.

Question 4

Do you export?

Accepted Answer

We supply exporters and we handle export-specification lots, particularly on raw cashew nut and sesame. Whether we ship on our own account depends on the commodity and the destination — raise it with us early, because it changes the documentation and the packaging spec.

Question 5

How do I sell my harvest to PapaAgric?

Accepted Answer

Get in touch through this site, or reach the aggregation team at your nearest intake point. We buy at a price posted to farmer groups ahead of the harvest window, assess grade and moisture with you at the scale, and pay on the terms agreed at intake.

Question 6

Do you supply inputs to the farmers you buy from?

Accepted Answer

Yes — certified seed and crop protection are supplied ahead of the season into our farmer network, with the cost recovered against harvest delivery on terms set out in writing beforehand. Field staff visit through the season, not only at buying time.

Question 7

What is your relationship to iFeed and iMTS?

Accepted Answer

PapaAgric is a subsidiary of iFeed Agribusiness & Farms Limited, part of the Safo-Sarpong Group. iFeed Agribusiness owns and farms the group's land — and is one of our own most demanding customers. iMTS provides mechanisation, training and farm-management support, including land preparation for much of our network, and iFeed Logistics moves what we sell.

Question 8

Where are you based?

Accepted Answer

Our head office and main warehouse are in the Greater Accra Region, with aggregation and intake points sited in the growing districts we buy from. Visits are welcome by arrangement — get in touch before travelling so someone is there to meet you.
